10-Days Kenya and Tanzania Safari Tour

On arrival at Jombo Kenyatta International airport, you will be met by our representative and proceed for a drive to Maasai Mara Game Reserve, so named to mean the "spotted plains" in Maa language. This is home to the greatest concentration of large mammals and is widely recognized as Africa's ultimate wildlife reserve. The park is the northern extension to the vast Serengeti-Mara ecosystem, famous for its annual migration of wildebeest. This is a spectacular place of breathtaking sceneries, never-ending plains and the most abundant variety of wildlife remaining anywhere in the world. The landscape is made up of rolling savannahs dotted with patchy shrubs and bush tickets. You will arrive in time for lunch.

During your stay, you have the opportunity to explore this great reserve in depth. You will have the chance to see elephant, giraffe, prides of lion, and thousands of impala, topi, grants and Thomson's gazelle. Birds are prolific including immigrants, 450 birds species have been recorded among them 57 birds of prey. The Mara is the scene of annual migration of millions of wildebeest up from the Serengeti plains in search of water and grasses.

This morning you will depart with picnic lunch boxes to the Isebania border and after immigration formalities, you will proceed with our Tanzanian driver/guide to one of the Africa's most famous parks - The Serengeti National Park. An afternoon game drive brings you into the heart of the Serengeti's "endless plains" where you may spot some of the many animals and bird species. Be on the lookout for prides of lions as this is one of the best places on the continent to see them! You will arrive in time for lunch.

Spent a further day on morning and afternoon game viewing drives. During game drives, you may see cheetah, giraffe, lion, leopard, elephant - the list of endless. And each year it is the scene of the great migration where millions of wildebeest and zebra make their annual trek in search of fresh grass. Serengeti National Park is the Africa most of us have seen on television. Many National Geographic specials have been filmed here. Now we can see first hand why so many naturalists and photographers are drawn to this place.
You could also have an option of taking a hot air balloon excursion at an extra cost.

After breakfast, depart for the drive with picnic lunch boxes to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a full day game drive on the Crater floor to experience the Africa of bygone days when you explore the "Lost World' of Ngorongora Crater. Within the walls of the crater lie short grasslands, swamps, forests and a freshwater lake, inspiring continual migration of animals. You will have an opportunity to spot the "big five" - buffalo, elephant, leopard, the black maned lion and the endangered , rare black rhinoceros - as well as zebra, wildebeest and gazelles. The crater has long been regarded as the original "Garden of Eden", and is sure to be a memorble highlight of your visit to this extraordinary region!

After breakfast, proceed to Lake Manyara national park with a game drive enroute to arrive in time for lunch.
Afternon game drive until sunset in Lake Manyara National Park. You will drive through the Park's Mahogany forest; marsh, grass and scrubland, which are home to over 350 species of birds that populate this magnificent, tangle of vegetation. The park is famous for the tree-climbing lions that inhabit its forests.

After breakfast, check-out and drive via Arusha where you will pick up your lunch boxes and proceed for a drive to Namanga border and after immigration formalities, proceed with your Kenyan drive guide to Amboseli National Park, one of the most popular parks on the Tanzania border offering unique spectacle; the backdrop is the snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain proudly standing at 19,344 feet, and sometimes known as the "Roof of Africa". Game drive en-route to your lodge until sunset.
Dinner and overnight at accommodation in Amboseli.

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Nairobi to arrive in time for lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant. In the afternoon, proceed for a visit to the Giraffe Center and the Kazuri beads center.
In the evening, you will be transferred to the Pampa Grill for dinner (at your own expense)>
Later you will be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home.
