Day 01 (Saturday) Calgary arrival

Arrive in Calgary, Alberta's major city and gateway to the Canadian Rockies. Transfer to your hotel in this rising city that grew out of the Canadian West, balancing modern and traditional with a pioneer charm.
Tonight, meet your Tour Manager, who will introduce you to the exciting journey through Canada that awaits you. You tour will begin with an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager at approximately 7pm on the day of arrival. We recommend that you select flights which arrive in Calgary no later than 5pm on Day 1 of the itinerary or earlier, if possible.

Day 02 (Sunday) Calgary City Tour, Travel to Banff

This morning enjoy a city tour of Calgary. Set dramatically between prairies and peaks, Calgary is a clicl metropolis, buzzing with innovative energy while embracing its rich western heritage. Drive pst the major sites to see a combination of historical, architectural and vintage landmarks of this diverse city. After lunch at leisure, continue to Banff. Enjoy the unparalleled mountain scenery as you approach wondrous Banff National Park, named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Nestled in the very heart of the magnificent Canadian Rockies, the snow-capped mountains, glistening glaciers and sweeping panoramas are just one part of the allure of Banff. Tonight, perhaps explore the dining scene in Banff with a wide choice of western saloons, English pubs and international restaurants.

Day 03 (Monday) Johnston Canyon & Lake Louise

Begin the day in the scenic Johnston Canyon. Spend some time at leisure to walk and explore the falls. Continue to the crystal clear Moraine Lake with its indigo blue waters, surrounded by the Valley of the Ten Peaks beneath the third highest mountain in the Canadian Rockies, known to rival Lake Louise with its scenic grandeur. This glacier fed lake reflects the remarkable beauty of one of the most photographed spots in all of Canada. Return to Lake Louise for lunch on your own before continuing your day to extraordinary Lake Louise, symbolic of the quintessentially Canadian mountain scene. Known for its sparkling blue waters, and at the base of impressive glacier-clad peaks, this area is one of the most astonishingly picturesque areas of Banff National Park. Afterwards, return to Banff for an afternoon at leisure, or participate in the optional Float Tour on the Bow River. The gentle raft float offers great views of a variety of wildlife and a chance to learn more about the area's natural history from expert guides. Tonight, perhaps explore the dining scene in Banff with a wide choice of western saloons, English pubs and international restaurants.

Day 04 (Tuesday) Banff National Park

Enjoy the wondrous Banff National Park. Nestled in the heart of the magnificent Canadian Rockies, the snow-capped vistas, crystal glaciers and sweeping panoramas are just one part of the astonishing allure of Banff. Follow the Tunnel Mountain drive for spectacular scenery and continue along the shores of Two Jack Lake and Lake Minnewanka, "Water of the Spirits", a gorgeous glacial lake in the eastern area of Banff where First Nations people inhabited the areas around 10,000 years ago. This afternoon, perhaps join the optional Banff Gondola Ride and enjoy spectacular bird’s-eye views of six mountain ranges.

Day 05 (Wednesday) Banff departure

Early morning group departure from Banff to Calgary International airport for your departure flight back to your hometown city. Passengers returning to Calgary from Banff on Day 5 should select flights that depart no earlier than 2:00pm. Banff is approximately a 2-hours drive from Calgary International airport.

Land only price does not include arrival/departure transfers, nor are the transfers included if flight schedule does not meet the schedule below:

Arrival Airport transfer shuttle runs between 8:00 am and 11:59 pm . Passengers arriving outside of these times will be required to make alternate arrangements on their own.

Passengers departing Banff to Calgary International Airport on Day 5 should select flights that depart no earlier than 2:00 pm. One group transfer will depart at approximately 8:00 am. Banff is approximately a two-hour drive from the Calgary International Airport.

It is recommended that passengers select flights that arrive in Calgary no later than 5 pm on Day 1.

All sightseeing and itinerary inclusions are subject to favorable weather conditions and seasonality. In those instances, and until the roads are available for travel, often unpredictable until the last moment, roads, routes and sites will be amended.


Accommodation Details:
Triple rooms consist of two double/queen beds for three persons; where available, a fee may be charged by the hotel for the addition of a cot/rollaway.
