6-Days Madagascar "The Lemurs and the Baobabs"
During this trip, we will have a great experience on the sample's of Madagascar treasures: the lemurs and the baobabs.
The first part of the tour will include Morondava, the privileged territory of these majestic giants.
Then, we will head to Andasibe, the nearest nature reserve from the capitale, the best place to see the largest species of lemurs.

Arrival in Antananarivo.
After customs and visa formalities, meet with your guide and then transfer to the hotel located in town.
Rest of the day free at leisure.

Located on the slope of the hillside in the heart of the city. Finished with palissandre, exotic but elegantly decorated, each of our 46 air conditioned rooms has its own electronic safe, direct phone line, television with local and international channels, wifi, minibar, bathroom and hair dryer. <La Table des Hautes Terres>, the restaurant suggests European and local food, A swimming pool is at your disposal.

Pick up from your hotel to airport for domestic flight departure for Morondava, west of Madagascar.
Upon arrival, you will be met with your guide and transfer to your hotel stay.
Depending on the tide, visit of the fisher's villae of Betania.
Afternoon visit of the famous baobab avenue and the lvoers baobabs.
Remarks: The programe might change depending on the flight schedules.

Located in Nosy Kely on the large beach of Morondava, 29 bungalows with private balcony, scattered in a beautiful coconut grove, are challenging the beauty of the nature. The infrastructure gives a great comfort to guests. The restaurant offers a world food menu; admire a splendid sunset while enjoying a tasty cocktail. As for leisure, there are swimming pool, pedalo, sail board, snorkeling....

Breakfast at hotel.
Transfer to airport for flight back to Anantanarivo.
According to the flight schedule, lunch to be taken in Morondava or in Tana. If the timing is OK, we will make a quick stop in the crafts market to find basketry, marquetry, wood carvings, metal toys, miniature cars and some semi-precious stones, all in very relaxed mood.
Transfer to hotel for stay.

| Day 04 | Antananarivo ~ Andasibe National Park |
Enjoy breakfast at hotel and meet with your local guide.
Before going east, we will go for a tour in the upper town, vestige of Tana history. Visit the ruins of the Queen Palace.
After that, depart for Andasibe National Park. This is one of the main roads of the country, it is relying the most important sea port in Toamasina and the capital Antananarivo, a heavy traffic. We leave the highlands by the steep slope of Mandraka where starts the forest corridor representing generally the eco-region along the eastern part of Madagascar.
Visit of the bufferfly farm to see an amazing concentration of chameleon, gecko, leaf-tailed gecko and bufferfly of course. Then go on to east. Arrive in Andasibe in the late afternoon.

Andasibe Hotel
It is nested in an endemic nature, the hotel offers a whole range of bungalow, spacious and comfortable. Bungalows of Andasibe Hotel offer a wide choice of chambers fitted out in an orgiinal and modern style. Several activities are also proposed to relax in couple, in family or between friends.

In the morning, we walk with a local guide to discover this protected area. It is mainly covered with primary forest pecullar to the eastern side of Madagascar. Many rare and endemic species can be found in this rain forest. The biodiversity is so amazing , we can meet Indri Indri the largest of lemurs here. His behaviour is fascinating and your guide will explain all about his. Many other species are living there such as Grey Bamboo lemur (Hapalemur griseus), Wooly lemur (Avahi Laniger) and others. Flora is also very interesting, there are several species of medicinal plants.
Go back to hotel for lunch.
In the mid-afternoon, visit of lemur island where we will have the opportunity to see few species of lemurs, typical to the eastern part of the island. Great photo shoot in perspective :-)

Depart and drive back to Tana following the same road, the national road No. 2
