An amazing combination of white and ash-gray mountains, the blinding sun, turquoise waters of the lake and ancient green pines on the background of ringing silence and air intoxicating with its freshness and purity evokes a feeling of unreality and detachment.
Charyn Canyon
The canyon is located on the spurs of the Tian Shan Mountains, near the border with China. The Charyn Canyon is a natural monument composed of sedimentary rocks, the age of which is about 12 million years. It stretches fro 154 kilometers along the valley of Charyn river. The most interesting and frequently visited tourist destination is the so-called "Valley of Castles". The landscape diversity of Charyn Canon is due to th variety of flora and fauna. Charyn Canyon is analogous to the Colorado Grand Canyon in the North America, being behind it in size, but not losing in its beauty.
Kolsai Lakes 科爾賽湖
Wonderful lakes are safely hidden in these natural jewels - high in the mountains, in the causeway connecting ile Alatau and Kungei-Alatau mountain ranges, between the slopes of Kolsai canyon overgrown with tall spruces. Each of the lakes has a unique charm. Each of them is beautiful in its own way. Kolsai Lakes are called the "Pearl of the North Tien Shan". But in fact, it is not even a pearl, but a whole necklace, because there are three lakes! The water in the Kolsai Lakes is extraordinary: the age-old Tien Shan firs have just reflected in the dark blue depths - and now the water is emerald green, as if the pine forest painted the lake in its colors! But just the next moment, high blue sky peers into the lake - and the water immediately becomes bright blue! The enchanting beautfy and splendor of the majestic mountain landscapes and the fabulously beautiful Kolsai Lakes, the silence and tranquility that pervails here, fascinate and intoxicate with a juicy aroma of herbs and flowers, giving peace and serenity, which we so lacking in the eternal bustle of big cities and the crazy rhythm of modern life.
Tamgaly Tas (Ili River)
Tamgaly-Tas is a mountain area near the Ili River, 120km north of the city of Almaty, where numerous petroglyphs, images of mysterious deities and late Buddhist inscriptions are preserved in the cliffs. Among the petroglyphs, there are about a thousand rock images. Images of Buddha are the most famous. In addition to the Buddhist images and inscriptions, there is a stone with ancient Turkic runic inscriptions of VIII-IX centuries, presumably left by the cumans. Tamgaly-Tas is under the protection of the Government of Kazakhstan as a cultural monument and is a Buddhist temple in the open air, as evidenced by a sign at the entrance to the mountain area.
Baikonur Cosmodrome 拜科努爾航天局
There are a lot of great places in the world, which were made unique due to the history of human civilization. One of such places is the Baikonur Cosmodrome, rightly referred to as the first space harbor of our planet. Located in Kyzylorda region in the bend of the Syr Darya river, the Baikonur Cosmodrome became a symbol of the New Age in the history of the Earth. The city of Baikonur and the Baikonur Cosmodrome together form the "Baikonur" complex, leased by Russia from Kazakhstan for the period of up to 2050.

Borovoye (Burabay Lake)
In the northern Kazakhstan, between Astana and Kokshetau mountains, there is one of the most beautiful resorts in Central Asia - Borovoye. These places can't be considered traditional for Kazath latitudes. This area is rather considered an exception and represents a diverse oasis where all the colors of nature are interwoven, including broad-leaved trees and emerald lakes, steep cliffs and high mountains, green meadows and broad rivers. The Blue Bay wherefrom the 18-meter fanciful cliff Zhumbaktas "grows" is very picturesque. Its shape resembles a sphinx. Another great rock called Okzhetpes with the apex lying in the form of an elephant is lcoated on the hillside of Kokshetau mountain. The local mountains attract tourists with its mysteriousness. Each of them has its own interesting story, a legend that local guides would be happy to settl the resort guests.
